Fisher & Farmer
Fieldwork
Our programmes across conservation, education, food systems, and community development.
Land. Design. Build. Story.
Conservation communities and agriculture-centred places — from a single acre to a thousand. Fieldwork holds builder, architect, and brokerage registrations in Georgia and South Carolina. Irish operations run through Fisher & Farmer Ltd.
We design kitchen gardens for homesteads and orchards for restaurants. We broker farmland transactions and advise landowners on conservation easements. We convert barns, plan farm stays, and lay out market gardens. When the land and the ambition call for it, we design and build conservation communities from the ground up.
Explore Fieldwork →Bog Bia
Europe’s first direct-to-consumer food product made with protein extracted from Lemna minor. Our flagship brand, built on Irish ingredients and duckweed science.
Bog Bia takes an ancient plant — duckweed, the fastest-growing crop on earth — and turns it into something you actually want to eat. Grown on bogland water in the west of Ireland, harvested weekly, and processed into a high-protein ingredient that goes into bars, broths, and seasonings. No soy. No imports. No greenwashing. Just a small green plant, Irish water, and a supply chain that fits on a single farm.

A national seafood apprenticeship programme. Fisher & Farmer is the employer of record for apprentices rotating through Ireland’s inshore fishing, aquaculture, and processing operators.
The inshore fleet is ageing out. The processing plants can’t find skilled workers. The aquaculture sector is growing but has no pipeline. This programme fixes all three at once — a structured, paid apprenticeship that rotates trainees through real operators across the Irish coast, building the next generation of people who know how to catch, grow, and process seafood in this country.
